As a brand designer for No Plans, I undertook the challenge of creating a distinctive brand identity for a sleep and loungewear line. No Plans celebrates your downtime: that post 9-to-5 time when you are at your realest — unbothered, uninhibited, and wonderfully imperfect. Our goal was to encapsulate the essence of effortless, versatile comfort that resonates with individuals at their most authentic and unbothered selves, to embrace the secret satisfaction of cancelled plans and the joy of missing out.
Working closely with the art director, Faye Cruz, I aimed to infuse No Plans with a chic, clean, and playful atmosphere. Utilizing Photoshop, I meticulously edited each photograph to enhance the brand's aesthetic, smoothing out wrinkles, blemishes, and brightening the environment to create a visually pleasing and inviting atmosphere.
In the realm of social media, I played a pivotal role in organically growing No Plans’s followers by focusing on strategic social copy, hashtags, post designs, layout, and overall branding. The quarterly growth resulted in a current following of 1,500+, showcasing the success of our efforts in engaging the audience and building a community.
In the realm of print design, I contributed to enhancing the tangible brand experience for No Plans consumers. By working on designs for items such as tote bags and clothing tags, I aimed to create physical extensions of the brand that would provide consumers with a memorable and cohesive brand experience. The goal was to create not just sleepwear but a lifestyle brand, where every touchpoint reflected the brand's commitment to comfort, style, and the joy of embracing downtime.
